The Wydale 94 Litre Underslung Water Tank is a vehicle-specific water storage solution designed for 2017 onwards Volkswagen Crafter and MAN TGE Medium Wheelbase (MWB) vans with Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) or Four Wheel Drive (4WD).
Designed to mount beneath the vehicle, the tank provides a substantial 94 litre water capacity without taking up valuable space inside the campervan. This makes it particularly suitable for campervan and motorhome conversions where maximising internal storage and living space is important.
The tank is manufactured by Wydale Plastics from durable rotationally moulded polyethylene and has been shaped specifically around the underside of the MWB Crafter and MAN TGE RWD/4WD chassis.

It is important to select the correct Wydale tank for your vehicle's wheelbase and drivetrain, as different tanks and fitting kits are used for FWD, RWD and 4WD applications.
Integrated Connections & Mounting Points
The tank incorporates dedicated moulded plumbing connection points, including 1 × 1" BSP and 2 × 3/4" BSP connections, together with moulded vent points. These allow the tank to be connected to the fresh or waste water system using the appropriate fittings. Additional connections can be added using suitable tank fittings or Wydale KwiQ fittings where required.
Optional Vehicle-Specific Fitting & Plumbing Kit
An optional Wydale complete fitting kit is available for this tank. Wydale specifically lists this kit for the 94 litre MWB Crafter / MAN TGE RWD and 4WD tank.
Please note: The fitting kit is not included as standard and must be selected when ordering if required.
Adding Additional Inlets, Outlets & Breathers
If additional connections are required, further holes can be added to accommodate a water inlet, outlet, breather, drain, level sensor or other tank fitting.
When using a conventional tank fitting with a nut and sealing washer, always make sure the chosen position can be reached from inside the tank so the nut and washer can be correctly fitted and tightened.
Alternatively, a Wydale KwiQ fitting can be used where appropriate. These allow an additional BSP connection to be created without needing access to the back of the fitting from inside the tank. Wydale recommends KwiQ fittings for creating additional connections on its vehicle-specific underslung tanks.

Yes. Additional connections can be installed where required. If using a conventional bulkhead fitting, remember that you will normally need access to the inside of the tank to tighten the nut and sealing washer, so carefully consider the position before drilling.
A Wydale KwiQ fitting can be used where suitable. This allows an additional BSP connection to be created without needing to reach inside the tank to secure a separate nut and washer.
The tank is specifically shaped for its intended position beneath the MWB Crafter / MAN TGE RWD and 4WD chassis. Ground clearance can still vary depending on the vehicle, suspension, tyres and conversion, so the completed installation should always be checked before use.
The correct sensor length depends on the depth of the tank at the dedicated level sender position rather than simply its overall external dimensions. The sensor should be selected so that it does not contact the bottom of the tank when installed.
