The Wydale 60 Litre Opaque Universal Water Tank is a practical rectangular water storage tank suitable for campervans, motorhomes, caravans, van conversions and other leisure vehicle applications.
Unlike a vehicle-specific tank, its simple rectangular design allows it to be installed in a wide variety of locations where its dimensions are suitable. With a height of only 250mm, it provides a useful 60 litre nominal capacity while remaining relatively low profile.
Manufactured by Wydale Plastics from durable rotationally moulded polyethylene, the tank is designed to provide a tough and long-lasting water storage solution. Wydale describes the standard natural translucent version as suitable for the storage and transportation of potable water.
The natural opaque/translucent finish allows the approximate water level to be visually checked through the tank wall, which can be particularly useful when filling, draining or checking your fresh water system.
The tank measures approximately 800mm long × 350mm wide × 250mm high and incorporates a large 5" internal plain, non-vented access lid.
Integrated Outlet
The Wydale 60 litre tank incorporates a 3/4" BSP outlet, providing a ready-made threaded connection point for your water system.
Universal Installation
This is a universal water tank and is not designed around one particular make or model of vehicle.
Its compact 800 × 350 × 250mm dimensions make it suitable for a wide range of campervan and motorhome conversions, provided there is sufficient space to accommodate and securely mount the tank.

Adding Additional Inlets, Outlets & Breathers
Additional holes can be drilled into the tank to accommodate your chosen water inlet, outlet, breather, drain, level sensor or other tank fittings.
When deciding where to drill, remember that conventional tank fittings normally use a nut and sealing washer on the inside of the tank. You must therefore make sure the chosen position can be reached through the tank's access lid so the internal nut and washer can be fitted and tightened.
Alternatively, a Wydale KwiQ fitting can be used where suitable. These fittings can be installed without needing to reach inside the tank to secure a separate internal nut and washer.

For this 250mm high tank, a 225mm water level sensor is required. This provides an appropriate sensing length while allowing clearance between the end of the sensor and the bottom of the tank.
Both versions have the same 60 litre capacity, 800 × 350 × 250mm dimensions, 3/4" BSP outlet and 5" access lid. The black version helps restrict light entering the tank, while the natural opaque/translucent version allows the approximate water level to be visually checked.
