The Whale Easi-Slide Onboard Tank Fill Socket provides a neat and convenient external filling point for the onboard fresh water tank in a motorhome, caravan or campervan.
Designed to be installed into the exterior wall of the vehicle, the socket allows the onboard tank to be filled directly using a standard water hose. An integrated secure hose clip helps hold the hose in position during filling, making it easier to fill the tank without having to continuously hold the hose in place.
The rear of the socket features a 40mm connection for the main water filler hose together with a separate optional 10mm bleed/breather connection. The breather allows displaced air to escape from the tank during filling, helping prevent airlocks and providing smoother, more reliable filling.
Part of Whale's Easi-Slide exterior socket range, the filler is designed to be used with the compatible locking Easi-Slide Water Icon lid, available separately in a choice of colours. The sliding design provides a smart, streamlined appearance compared with traditional hinged external filler covers.
The Whale SO2000C is designed specifically for cold fresh water systems and is ideal for new motorhome and campervan conversions as well as replacing an existing compatible Whale installation.

The separate bleed/breather connection is designed for 10mm diameter hose. The breather is blanked as standard, if required you will need to drill/cut through to access.
As water enters the tank, the air already inside needs somewhere to escape. Connecting the 10mm breather correctly helps prevent airlocks, blowback and interrupted filling.
Yes. Whale specifically designs the Onboard Tank Fill Socket for use with a standard hose. The built-in secure hose clip helps keep the hose in position while the tank is being filled.

The SO2000C is designed by Whale for cold fresh water systems. As with any potable water installation, suitable food-grade hoses, tanks and fittings should be used throughout the system.
No. Although both are designed for filling an onboard fresh water tank, the SO2500C combines the tank filling point with a 12V electrical connection. The SO2000C is the straightforward onboard tank filling socket without the integrated 12V connection.
