The Whale Easi-Slide Onboard Tank Fill Socket with 12V is a clever 2-in-1 external filling point, combining a fresh water tank filler with a 12V DC power connection in one neat unit for motorhomes, caravans and campervans.
Designed to be installed into the exterior wall of the vehicle, the socket allows an onboard fresh water tank to be filled using a standard water hose. The integrated 12V connection can also provide power for a compatible external water pump, making it particularly useful with the Whale Superfil Pump Kit when water needs to be pumped from an external container into the onboard tank.
A built-in secure hose clip helps keep the filling hose in position during use, reducing the need to continuously hold the hose while the tank is filling.
At the rear, the socket features a 40mm connection for the main water filler hose together with a separate 10mm bleed/breather connection. Correct connection of the breather allows displaced air to escape as the tank fills, helping prevent airlocks and providing smoother, more reliable filling.
