The Whale Easi-Slide External Gas/BBQ Point provides a neat and convenient external LPG connection for caravans, motorhomes and campervans, allowing a suitable gas barbecue or other compatible external LPG appliance to be connected directly to the vehicle's onboard gas supply.
Designed for propane and butane LPG systems, the Whale SO1000C combines simple one-handed operation with an important integrated safety feature. The safety coupling prevents the gas tap from being turned on unless the correct hose coupling is properly connected, helping provide a secure connection when using an external gas appliance.
Once connected, the external appliance can use the vehicle's existing onboard LPG supply, removing the need to carry and connect a separate gas cylinder specifically for the barbecue.
The rear gas connection uses an M14 x 1.5 threaded nut and compression olive for 8mm diameter gas pipe, making it suitable for integration into many caravan and motorhome LPG installations.
Part of Whale's Easi-Slide exterior socket range, the SO1000C is designed for use with the compatible Whale Easi-Slide BBQ/Gas Icon lid, available separately in a choice of colours. This allows the lid to be matched to other Whale Easi-Slide water, gas and electrical utility points fitted to the vehicle.
