The Whale Easi-Slide 12V/24V DC Isolator Switch provides a neat and accessible external isolation point for electrical systems fitted to motorhomes, caravans, campervans and leisure vehicles.
Designed for 12V and 24V DC electrical systems, the Whale SO3200C allows the power supply to connected equipment to be isolated when it is not required. This can help prevent unnecessary battery drain and provides a convenient way of disconnecting high-current equipment without needing to access an internally mounted battery or isolator.
It is particularly useful as an external motor mover isolator switch, allowing the mover's electrical supply to be switched on when required and isolated again after use. It can also be used for other suitable 12V or 24V DC equipment where an accessible high-current isolation point is required.
The rear of the isolator features substantial M8 threaded electrical connections for connection into the DC electrical system.
Part of Whale's Easi-Slide exterior socket range, the SO3200C is designed for use with a compatible Whale Easi-Slide lid, available separately in a choice of colours. This allows the isolator to match other Whale Easi-Slide water, gas and electrical utility points fitted to the vehicle.
One of the most useful applications for the Whale Easi-Slide Isolator is as an external caravan motor mover isolation switch.
