The Whale AquaSource Clear Water Filter with 12mm Push-Fit Connections is designed to improve the taste and smell of fresh water in your caravan, motorhome or campervan. Installed directly into your onboard water system, the filter uses a silverised activated carbon element to help reduce unpleasant tastes and odours, giving you cleaner, fresher-tasting drinking water.
Featuring 12mm push-fit connections, this version is suitable for modern leisure vehicle plumbing systems that use semi-rigid 12mm water pipe. The push-fit design allows for quick installation without the need for hose clips or special tools, making it suitable for both new installations and replacement filters.
The filter can be mounted either vertically or horizontally using the supplied mounting clips, allowing it to fit neatly into a wide range of installations. It is maintenance free and is recommended for replacement at the start of each season or after approximately 4,500 litres (1,188 US gallons) of water usage.

The Whale Aquasource Clear Water Filter uses a silverised activated carbon filter to help remove unpleasant tastes, odours and impurities from your onboard fresh water supply, improving the taste and clarity of drinking water. It is not designed to remove bacteria from contaminated water.
Yes. The Whale WF1230 is designed for use in caravans, motorhomes, campervans and boats with 12mm fresh water pipework. It is commonly installed beneath the kitchen sink within the cold water supply.
Whale recommends replacing the filter after one full season or approximately 4,500 litres of water, whichever comes first, to maintain the best water quality.
Yes. After installation, allow fresh water to run through the filter for at least 30 seconds until the water runs clear. This removes harmless loose carbon particles that may be present from manufacture.
Yes. The Whale Aquasource Clear Filter can be mounted either vertically or horizontally and includes mounting clips for secure installation in confined spaces.
Yes. The Whale WF1230 is suitable for pressurised fresh water systems with a maximum recommended working pressure of 4 bar (60 psi).
