55L Fresh Water Tank Kit (Backfill System) - VW Crafter (2006–2017 RWD)

This 55 litre underfloor fresh water tank kit (Backfill System) is purpose-built for the VW Crafter 2006–2017 RWD.
The backfill configuration allows you to fill the tank directly through your internal cold-water plumbing, making it ideal for stealth campers or clean exterior builds without a visible filler cap.

The tank installs along the driver’s-side sill behind the exhaust, providing a discreet, durable and space-saving fresh-water solution.

Everything needed for a full backfill installation is included.

Locating Instructions — VW Crafter (Backfill)

Mounts lengthwise along the driver’s-side sill behind the exhaust silencer.

The backfill line connects into the van’s cold-water feed via the supplied straight connectors.

The breather hose must be routed upward inside the vehicle with a high-loop to prevent siphoning.

Check clearance around heat shields, exhaust routing, brake lines and wiring.

Important Information

Compatible with water-level sensors (including Victron and SRNE).

Tank may contain small amounts of test water.

Clean thoroughly before use with potable water.
