The Scanstrut Ventura XT60 Power Socket 30A provides a compact, weatherproof external power connection for motorhomes, campervans, caravans, overland vehicles and marine applications.
Designed particularly for portable solar panels and other compatible DC power equipment, the socket uses an Amass XT60EW-M male waterproof connector rated at 30A continuous and 60A instantaneous. It provides a convenient exterior connection without having to run cables through doors, windows or other openings.
The socket is supplied with 150mm of 4mm² (12AWG) tinned copper cable, simplifying connection to the vehicle's electrical system. It is rated up to 500V DC, with maximum power delivery of 360W at 12V, 720W at 24V and 1440W at 48V.
Part of the Scanstrut Ventura Series, the socket features a spring-loaded protective lid, built-in sealing gasket, UV-resistant construction and marine-grade 316 stainless steel components. With the lid closed, the front of the unit is rated IP68 and IP69K for excellent protection against water and dust.

The Ventura XT60 provides a weatherproof external DC power connection, particularly useful for connecting portable solar panels to motorhomes, campervans, caravans and overland vehicles.

Yes. The front is rated IP68 and IP69K with the lid closed. When connected using a compatible XT60W-F waterproof female connector, the connection is rated IP65.

The XT60 version is rated at 30A continuous and provides a compact solar connection, while the Scanstrut Ventura Anderson SB50 is rated up to 50A and is better suited to higher-current applications. We sell both versions, allowing you to choose the connection that suits your system.
