The integrated non-return valve allows air to enter the boiler when the water system is drained. This prevents a vacuum forming inside the water heater, allowing it to empty completely and helping protect the boiler during winterisation.

The outlet accepts 12mm outside diameter semi-rigid push-fit water pipe, commonly used in caravan and motorhome plumbing systems. The boiler end uses the threaded Truma/ALDE connection.

The easiest way is to compare:

• The existing fitting has a threaded connection into the boiler.
  
• It has a 90° elbow with an integrated non-return valve.
  
• It connects to 12mm push-fit pipe.
  
• Your current valve is typically red or white and fitted to the hot water outlet.
