The Thetford SK260 Separation Conversion Kit allows you to convert an existing Thetford C260 series cassette toilet into a modern waterless separation toilet, without replacing the complete toilet installation.
Designed specifically around Thetford's established C260 platform, the SK260 replaces the conventional cassette and toilet bowl components with a system that separates urine and solid waste at source.
Urine is directed into a removable 7.5 litre urine tank, while solid waste is collected separately in a 7 litre solids container. Both containers are manufactured from recycled plastic and can be accessed through the existing exterior cassette service door.
Once converted, the toilet operates without flushing water, helping conserve your motorhome or campervan's onboard fresh-water supply and providing greater flexibility when travelling and camping off-grid.
The SK260 includes a complete replacement inner and outer toilet bowl, rather than simply adapting the existing bowl. The ergonomically designed separation bowl incorporates a blade that visually covers the solid waste container, while a leak-free connection to the urine tank helps minimise the risk of spills when the tank is removed.
The SK260 also incorporates an electronic urine tank level indicator, allowing you to monitor when the urine tank needs emptying.
For owners who already have a compatible C260 cassette toilet, the SK260 provides a convenient way to upgrade to Thetford's S260-style separation system while retaining much of the existing toilet installation.
