The Thetford C200CS Cassette Toilet is a compact swivel-bowl toilet designed for installation in motorhomes, campervans and caravans with an onboard pressurised fresh water system.

Unlike cassette toilets with a separate built-in flushing tank, the C200CS connects directly to the vehicle's main fresh water supply, removing the need to fill a separate toilet flush tank. A convenient 12V electric flush controls the water supply to the bowl.

The C200 series features Thetford's space-saving swivel toilet bowl, which can rotate through 90° in either direction. This allows the bowl to be positioned to make better use of available space and makes the C200CS particularly suitable for compact washrooms and self-build campervan conversions.

Waste is collected in a removable cassette waste-holding tank, allowing it to be removed through an external service door for convenient emptying without carrying the cassette through the vehicle.

The C200CS is designed to be installed against a vertical wall. The waste cassette requires suitable access from the opposite side of the installation, normally through a Thetford exterior service door.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. The C200CS is designed to connect to the main fresh water system of the motorhome, campervan or caravan. This means there is no separate toilet flush tank to fill.

Yes. The toilet uses a 12V electric flush system. The water supply is controlled by an electrically operated valve when the flush button is pressed.

Thetford specifies a minimum water pressure of 0.5 bar and a minimum flow rate of 6 litres per minute for satisfactory flushing.

Yes. It is specifically designed to work with a vehicle's onboard water system. The water pump and system must be capable of providing the required pressure and flow.

If your pump produces particularly high water pressure, Thetford provides for the use of a flow restrictor to prevent excessive flushing.

Yes. The C200 series bowl can rotate 90° in either direction, giving a total movement of 180°. This makes it easier to position the toilet in smaller caravan and campervan bathrooms.

The C200CS uses the removable C200-series waste-holding cassette, with a capacity of approximately 17 litres.

The cassette slides out from the rear of the toilet. In most motorhome and caravan installations this is accessed through a service door fitted to the exterior wall of the vehicle.

Yes, provided there is suitable access on the other side of the wall to remove the waste cassette. In conventional motorhome and caravan installations it is normally positioned against an exterior wall so the cassette can be removed from outside.

Thetford's installation instructions specify a bathroom at least 500mm wide, with a minimum 500mm floor depth from the rear wall. With the lid raised, approximately 822mm of vertical clearance is required.

Always check the official installation template and dimensions against the intended installation position before cutting the vehicle wall.
