The SRNE Smart Power Management Starter Kit provides the foundation for an integrated electrical monitoring and control system in campervans, motorhomes, caravans and off-grid installations. Combining the SRNE CU2 Control Unit, RMA7 7-inch Touchscreen Display and BS48500 500A Battery Monitor, the kit brings essential battery information and electrical system controls together in one convenient interface.
At the centre of the system is the SRNE CU2, which communicates with compatible SRNE electrical equipment and provides built-in Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. Users can view battery performance, monitor connected devices and operate supported electrical functions through the SRNE mobile app or the RMA7 touchscreen.
The RMA7 colour touchscreen provides a central display for monitoring battery state of charge, charging activity and other connected system information. The CU2 also incorporates six 6A relay outputs, allowing suitable low-current equipment such as lighting and ventilation fans to be controlled through the system.
Accurate battery monitoring is provided by the BS48500 500A battery shunt, which measures current flowing into and out of the leisure battery. This enables monitoring of battery voltage, current consumption and remaining battery capacity, helping users understand how much energy is available when travelling or camping off-grid.
Designed as an expandable system, the starter kit can be integrated with compatible SRNE solar charge controllers, DC-DC chargers and inverter/chargers. Additional water level and temperature sensors can also be incorporated, creating a centralised monitoring solution for a complete campervan or motorhome electrical installation.

Installation Information
The CU2 acts as the central communication and control unit, connecting the RMA7 touchscreen and compatible SRNE devices into a single system.
The BS48500 battery monitor is installed in the leisure battery negative circuit so that charging and discharging current passes through its integrated shunt. The components must be connected using the appropriate communication cables and installed in accordance with SRNE's wiring instructions.
Additional solar controllers, battery chargers, sensors and electrical accessories can be incorporated as the system is expanded. The starter kit itself does not include a solar charger, DC-DC charger, inverter or leisure battery.

Frequently Asked Questions
The kit includes three main components: the SRNE CU2 Control Unit, the RMA7 7-inch Touchscreen Display and the BS48500 500A Battery Monitor. Together, they provide centralised battery monitoring and control of compatible electrical equipment, forming the foundation of an expandable campervan or motorhome power management system.
Yes. The SRNE CU2 features built-in Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, allowing compatible system information to be accessed through the SRNE mobile app. Users can monitor battery status and connected equipment, with remote access available when the system has a suitable internet connection.
Yes. The included BS48500 battery monitor supports lithium and lead-acid battery systems, including compatible LiFePO4 leisure batteries. It measures battery voltage and current to calculate state of charge, providing useful information about remaining battery capacity and electrical consumption.
The RMA7 provides a central interface for viewing battery information and operating supported electrical functions. When connected through the CU2, it can be used to control suitable equipment connected to the system's relay outputs and monitor additional compatible SRNE devices.
Yes. The starter kit is designed to work with compatible SRNE MPPT solar charge controllers, DC-DC battery chargers and inverter/chargers. These can be added to create a more comprehensive electrical system, with supported charging information available through the central display and app.
The CU2 supports compatible water level sensors, allowing tank information to be incorporated into the system. This makes it possible to monitor fresh water and waste water levels alongside electrical information, provided suitable sensors are installed and configured.
Yes. The CU2 incorporates six 6A relay outputs that can be used to switch suitable electrical equipment, including lighting and ventilation fans. Higher-current loads require appropriately rated external switching equipment, and all circuits must be correctly protected.
No. This starter kit contains the central control unit, touchscreen and battery monitoring shunt. It does not include a solar charge controller, DC-DC charger, inverter or leisure battery. These can be selected separately to suit the requirements of the installation.
