Our 12mm Campervan Plumbing Kits have been carefully put together to provide a reliable starting point for installing a complete pressurised fresh water system in a campervan, motorhome or van conversion.
Each kit combines a water pump and accumulator package of your choice with quality John Guest 12mm semi-rigid pipe, push-fit fittings, isolation valves and installation accessories.
We have selected the components based on our extensive experience selling water system products, concentrating on the fittings and quantities most commonly required when putting together a campervan plumbing system.
Quality John Guest 12mm Plumbing
The plumbing side of the kit is based around John Guest 12mm OD semi-rigid pipe and push-fit fittings.
Push-fit plumbing makes installation straightforward without requiring specialist tools. The supplied pipe inserts are fitted into the ends of the semi-rigid pipe before connecting to the push-fit fittings, while the red and blue collet locking clips provide additional security once the system has been assembled.
Separate red and blue pipe is supplied to make it easy to identify hot and cold water circuits throughout the installation.
Pump & Accumulator Package
Each plumbing kit includes the pump and accumulator package selected when ordering, giving you the main components required to create a pressurised water supply.
The accumulator is installed on the outlet side of the pump and helps provide smoother water delivery while reducing rapid pump cycling when small amounts of water are being used.
Please select your preferred pump L/PSI combination from the available options.

Why Choose a Complete Plumbing Kit?
Putting together a campervan water system individually can mean working out pipe sizes, fitting types and how many of each component you are likely to need.
Our kits provide a convenient starting point using compatible 12mm plumbing components, while still giving you the flexibility to adapt the installation to the individual layout of your vehicle.
They are suitable for a wide variety of campervan and motorhome conversions and can be expanded with additional John Guest 12mm fittings where required.
Please Note
Every van conversion is different and the exact number and type of fittings required will depend on the layout of your water system, tank position, appliances and number of outlets.
These kits have been designed to provide the core components commonly required for an installation but additional fittings or pipework may be required for some conversions.

Frequently Asked Questions
The right kit will depend mainly on the size of your conversion, the length of your pipe runs and the number of water outlets you intend to install.
A smaller camper with a simple sink installation will generally require fewer fittings and less pipework, while a larger campervan or motorhome with a kitchen sink, shower, washbasin, toilet and hot water system is likely to require one of the larger kits.
Our kits increase in size by providing additional pipework, elbows, tees, isolation valves, pipe inserts and installation accessories. If you're unsure, it is often useful to sketch out your proposed plumbing layout and count the approximate number of fittings and metres of pipe required.
Consider both the flow rate in litres per minute (L/min) and the pressure in PSI.
For a simple installation with one or two outlets, a lower-flow pump may be sufficient. Larger installations with several taps, a shower or the possibility of multiple outlets being used will generally benefit from a higher-flow pump.
The pump should also be suitable for the pressure requirements of the other components in your water system, particularly your water heater, taps and shower.
L/min means litres per minute and describes the maximum flow rate of the pump.
A higher L/min rating means the pump is capable of delivering a greater volume of water. This can be useful in larger installations, particularly where a shower is fitted or more than one water outlet may be used.
PSI refers to the water pressure produced by the pump.
It is important to choose a pump pressure that is compatible with the equipment installed in your water system. Always check the maximum recommended pressure for components such as your water heater before selecting a pump.
An accumulator is fitted on the outlet side of the water pump and stores a small amount of pressurised water.
This helps provide smoother water delivery and can reduce rapid pump cycling when a tap is only partially opened or a small amount of water is being used.
The water pump is normally installed between the fresh water tank and the rest of the pressurised water system.
A typical arrangement is:
Fresh Water Tank → Filter/Strainer → Water Pump → Accumulator → Hot & Cold Water System
Always follow the installation instructions supplied with your chosen pump and other water system components.
Yes. The supplied John Guest pipe inserts should be fitted into the ends of the semi-rigid pipe before connecting it to the appropriate push-fit fitting.
They support the pipe at the connection and form part of the correct installation of the system.
The locking clips fit behind the collet on compatible John Guest push-fit fittings and help prevent the collet from being accidentally depressed and the pipe being released.
Red and blue clips are included so they can also be used to identify the hot and cold sides of the water system.
Isolation valves allow individual parts of the water system to be shut off without necessarily draining or disabling the complete installation.
Depending on your plumbing layout, they can be particularly useful around components such as water heaters, taps, showers or other appliances that may need to be isolated for servicing or maintenance.
A non-return valve allows water to travel in one direction while helping to prevent it from flowing backwards through the pipework.
Where it should be positioned will depend on the design of your individual water system.
The kits contain the core 12mm pipework, fittings and pump/accumulator components commonly required when building a campervan water system.
Every conversion is different, however, and additional fittings may be required depending on your fresh water tank, water heater, taps, shower, toilet and overall plumbing layout.
