The Reich UniQuick 12mm Inline Single Connection Drain Valve provides a simple and convenient way to drain water from your campervan, motorhome or caravan fresh water system.
Designed specifically for the Reich UniQuick 12mm push-fit plumbing system, this single connection version features one 12mm push-fit connection and is ideal for installing at a low point in the water system where pipework needs to be drained.
The valve is particularly useful when winterising your vehicle, allowing residual water to be released from the pipework to help protect the water system during freezing conditions. It is also useful when carrying out maintenance or alterations to your water installation.
The push-fit connection provides a quick and secure installation with compatible 12mm OD Reich UniQuick semi-rigid pipe, without the need for conventional hose clips, adhesives or welding.
Reich states that the UniQuick system uses materials suitable for drinking water and food applications and is resistant to mechanical damage. The UniQuick pipe system is rated as pressure-tight up to 6 bar at 80°C and is designed to be resistant to frost.
The valve provides a manual drain point within a 12mm water system. It allows water remaining in the pipework to be released when carrying out maintenance or winterising your campervan, motorhome or caravan.

This is the single connection version and has one 12mm UniQuick push-fit pipe connection.
The single version has one 12mm connection and is designed to terminate a pipe run at the drain point. The double version has two connections and can be incorporated between two sections of pipework.
Yes. The valve is ideal for installing at a suitable low point in the water system, allowing water to be drained before freezing weather. Pumps, water heaters, tanks and other components should also be drained according to their manufacturers' instructions.
Yes. The valve is suitable for installation within compatible hot or cold Reich UniQuick water systems.
Yes. UniQuick is a push-fit plumbing system. The correctly prepared 12mm OD pipe is pushed into the fitting to make the connection, without requiring a conventional hose clip.
Reich states that the UniQuick pipe system is 100% pressure-tight up to 6 bar at 80°C when correctly installed.
A drain valve should normally be positioned at an appropriate low point in the water system, allowing gravity to help empty the connected pipework. The exact position will depend on the layout of your vehicle's plumbing system.
