The Reich UniQuick 12mm Inline Double Connection Drain Valve is designed for use within Reich UniQuick 12mm semi-rigid water systems in campervans, motorhomes and caravans.
Featuring two 12mm push-fit connections, the valve can be installed directly into the water system, providing a convenient low-level drain point for emptying pipework. It is particularly useful when winterising your vehicle or carrying out maintenance on the fresh water system.
The valve is suitable for use with hot or cold water pipework and forms part of Reich's UniQuick push-fit plumbing system. UniQuick fittings allow the 12mm OD pipe to simply push into the fitting, creating a secure connection without conventional hose clips.

The valve creates a manual drain point within a 12mm UniQuick water system. Opening the valve allows water within the connected pipework to be drained, making it useful for maintenance and winterisation.
A drain valve should normally be positioned at an appropriate low point in the water system, allowing gravity to help empty the connected pipework. The exact position will depend on the layout of your vehicle's plumbing system.

Reich states that the UniQuick pipe system is 100% pressure-tight up to 6 bar at 80°C when correctly installed.
Yes. This is the double connection version, with two 12mm UniQuick push-fit pipe connections.
The double connection version has two 12mm pipe connections, allowing it to form part of the pipe run. Reich also manufactures a single-connection version for installations where only one pipe connection is required.
Yes. The valve is suitable for installation within compatible hot or cold Reich UniQuick water systems.
Yes. Installing drain valves at suitable low points helps remove water from the plumbing system before periods of freezing weather. The rest of the water system, including pumps, boilers and tanks, should also be drained according to the relevant manufacturer's instructions.
Yes. UniQuick is a push-fit plumbing system. The correctly prepared 12mm OD pipe is pushed into the fitting to make the connection, without requiring a conventional hose clip.
