The Scanstrut Single Cable Solar Entry Gland provides a neat and watertight way to route a single electrical cable through the roof or exterior panel of a motorhome, campervan, caravan or boat.

Designed for cables between 6mm and 10mm in diameter, it is particularly suitable for solar panel installations, as well as light bars, aerials and other exterior electrical equipment.

The horizontal design allows the cable to enter from the side, creating a compact, low-profile installation. Scanstrut supplies 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm and 10mm pre-drilled sealing bungs, plus a self-drill blank bung, allowing the seal to be matched closely to the diameter of your cable.

The gland is manufactured from UV-stable, hard-wearing and impact-resistant materials, making it suitable for exposed exterior installations. A supplied gasket helps create a watertight seal between the gland and mounting surface.

For solar installations using separate positive and negative cables, we also sell Scanstrut Double Cable Solar Entry Glands, allowing two cables to pass through a single gland.
