Bullfinch External Shower Utility Point - White

The Bullfinch External Shower Utility Point provides a convenient hot and cold outdoor shower for your campervan, caravan or motorhome. It's ideal for rinsing off muddy boots, washing bikes, cleaning equipment, showering after the beach or washing pets before entering your vehicle. The lockable design also ensures that no water can flow unless the shower hose is connected, providing additional security and peace of mind.

This complete kit includes the Bullfinch external shower utility point, a 1.5 metre shower hose assembly, shower head and fixing screws, providing everything needed to install and use your external shower (excluding plumbing fittings). The shower point features built-in hot and cold temperature control, allowing you to adjust the water temperature directly at the shower connection.

The rear of the shower point is fitted with 15mm outside diameter (OD) push-fit connections for both the hot and cold water supplies. If your vehicle uses 12mm semi rigid water pipe, we also supply 15mm to 12mm push-fit adaptors allowing the shower point to be easily connected to most campervan and motorhome plumbing systems.

Installation requires a 60mm circular hole through the side of your caravan, campervan or motorhome. Once fitted, connect both the hot and cold water supplies to the 15mm push-fit connections on the rear of the unit and secure the shower point using the supplied fixing screws. We recommend sealing around the mounting flange with a suitable automotive sealant to help prevent water ingress behind the panel.

Yes, provided your vehicle has a pressurised hot and cold water supply. On on-demand pressure pump systems, the shower point can be connected directly without any additional controls. If your caravan or motorhome uses a microswitch-operated water pump, an inline pressure switch should be installed specifically for the shower point to allow it to operate correctly.

The shower hose assembly simply pushes into the shower point where it automatically locks into position and activates the water flow. Once connected, you can adjust the water temperature by rotating the shower connector. When the hose is removed, the internal valves automatically shut off the water supply, helping prevent accidental leaks and making the unit safe for travel. Built-in non-return valves are fitted to both water inlets.

Yes. Genuine Bullfinch External Shower Utility Points are fitted with built-in non-return valves on both the hot and cold water inlets. These help prevent water flowing back into your plumbing system and contribute to reliable operation. If a valve ever becomes damaged, genuine replacement valves are available without needing to replace the complete shower unit.
