62ltr Ducato/Boxer/Relay L3 &L4 Underslung Water Tank (X250&X290)

The Wydale 62 Litre Ducato / Boxer / Relay Underslung Water Tank is a vehicle-specific water storage tank designed to fit beneath Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Relay X250 and X290 vans from 2006 onwards.

Designed specifically for L3 / Long Wheelbase (LWB) and L4 / Extra Long Wheelbase (XLWB) vehicles, the tank provides a useful 62 litre nominal water capacity without taking up valuable space inside the campervan or motorhome.

Manufactured by Wydale Plastics, the tank is shaped specifically around the underside of the Ducato, Boxer and Relay platform and incorporates dedicated mounting points for use with the appropriate vehicle-specific steel bracket kit.

This Wydale 62 litre underslung tank is suitable for:

This particular 62 litre tank is not suitable for L1 / SWB or L2 / MWB vehicles. Wydale also advises that it may not fit vehicles equipped with rear air suspension, so the available space beneath the vehicle should be checked before ordering.

Pre-Drilled Inlets, Outlets & Breathers

The tank is supplied with factory-prepared plumbing connections, reducing the amount of drilling required when installing the water system.

The tank incorporates:

• 1 × 1/2" BSP inlet/outlet, supplied opened/drilled
• 1 × 1 1/4" BSP inlet/outlet, supplied opened/drilled
• 2 × 20mm vents/breathers

Both BSP connections are supplied already opened/drilled, providing ready-made threaded connection points for suitable plumbing fittings. The two 20mm vents provide dedicated positions for the tank's breather/vent hoses.

Optional Vehicle-Specific Fitting Kits

A dedicated Wydale steel fitting kit is available for mounting the 62 litre tank beneath an L3 or L4 Ducato, Boxer or Relay.

The fitting kit provides the vehicle-specific mounting hardware required to secure the tank beneath the vehicle.

Please note: The fitting kits are not included as standard and must be selected when ordering if required.

Adding Additional Inlets, Outlets & Fittings

Although the tank already incorporates pre-drilled BSP connections and dedicated breather points, additional connections can be installed if required for your particular water system.

When drilling for an additional inlet, outlet, drain, level sensor or other fitting, remember that a conventional tank fitting normally requires a nut and sealing washer on the inside of the tank. Make sure the proposed position can be reached internally before drilling.

Alternatively, a suitable Wydale KwiQ fitting can be used where required. This allows an additional connection to be installed without needing to reach inside the tank to secure a separate nut and washer.
