50ltr Opaque Water Tank

The Wydale 50 Litre Opaque Water Tank is a compact universal water storage tank suitable for campervans, motorhomes, caravans, van conversions and a wide range of other water storage applications.

With a nominal capacity of 50 litres and dimensions of approximately 500mm long × 300mm wide × 370mm high, the tank provides a useful amount of onboard water storage while retaining a relatively compact footprint.

Manufactured by Wydale Plastics from tough rotationally moulded polyethylene, the tank is designed to provide a durable and long-lasting water storage solution. Wydale states that most of its water storage tanks are manufactured from WRAS-approved polymer and are suitable for applications including potable drinking water.

The natural translucent/opaque finish allows the approximate water level to be seen through the tank wall, making it particularly convenient when filling, draining or checking the remaining water supply.

Factory-Fitted 3/4" BSP Outlet

The Wydale 50 litre tank is supplied with a 3/4" BSP threaded outlet, providing a ready-made connection point for incorporating the tank into your water system.

No additional factory-fitted filler inlet or breather connection is specified on the standard tank, allowing these to be positioned according to the requirements of your particular installation.

Universal Installation

This is a universal water tank and is not designed around one particular vehicle.

Its compact 500 × 300 × 370mm dimensions make it suitable for a wide variety of campervan and motorhome installations, including cupboards, lockers, garages, under-bed storage areas and other suitable spaces.

Always check the available installation space, lid clearance and plumbing positions before ordering.

Adding Additional Inlets, Outlets & Breathers

Additional holes can be drilled into the tank where required for a filler inlet, breather/overflow, additional outlet, drain, level sensor or other tank fitting.

When using a conventional tank fitting, remember that a nut and sealing washer normally need to be fitted from inside the tank. Make sure the proposed position can be reached internally through the access lid before drilling.

Alternatively, a suitable Wydale KwiQ fitting can be used where appropriate. This allows an additional connection to be installed without needing to reach inside the tank to secure a separate nut and washer.
