100ltr Black Wheel Arch Water Tank

The Wydale 100 Litre Black Wheel Arch Water Tank is a high-capacity fresh water storage tank designed and manufactured by Wydale Plastics for installation over the wheel arch in campervans, motorhomes, van conversions and pick-ups. Its wheel arch profile makes efficient use of otherwise difficult-to-use vehicle space while providing a substantial 100 litre water capacity.

Manufactured in the UK by Wydale Plastics from WRAS approved polyethylene, the tank is suitable for storing potable fresh water. The black polyethylene construction also helps reduce light entering the tank.

The tank measures approximately 1100mm long × 260mm wide × 680mm high and incorporates a large 5" internal plain, non-vented access lid.

Integrated Connections & Mounting Points

The Wydale tank is manufactured with 10 × M8 threaded inserts moulded into the tank, providing dedicated mounting points for a suitable installation system.

It also incorporates 1 × 1/2" BSP threaded outlet insert, providing a convenient connection point for your fresh water system.

Optional Vehicle-Specific Fitting Kits

Optional fitting kits are available for selected vehicles and provide a secure and straightforward method of mounting the Wydale wheel arch tank.

The fitting kits consist of:

• Vehicle-specific steel mounting brackets
• M8 socket head bolts which utilise the tank's integrated M8 threaded mounting points

Please note: The fitting kit is not included as standard and must be selected when ordering if required.

Adding Additional Inlets, Outlets & Breathers

Additional holes can be drilled into the tank to accommodate your chosen water inlet, outlet, breather, drain or other tank fittings.

When deciding where to drill, remember that conventional tank fittings normally use a nut and sealing washer on the inside of the tank. You must therefore position the hole somewhere that can be reached through the tank's access lid to hold and tighten the internal nut and washer.

Alternatively, a Wydale KwiQ fitting can be used where suitable. These fittings are installed from the outside of the tank, meaning you do not need to reach inside the tank to secure an internal nut and washer.
