Frequently Asked Questions

The green retaining pin secures the water connector tails into the bottom of a compatible Reich or Vector tap or shower mixer, preventing the tails from pulling out of the fitting.

The pin holds the water connector tails securely in the base of the tap or shower mixer.

If the tap, connector tails and retaining mechanism are otherwise undamaged, the retaining pin can be replaced separately, avoiding the need to replace the complete tap.

The pins can become lost or damaged when the water connector tails are removed during plumbing repairs, tap replacement or other maintenance work.
