The 1¼" BSP Female Stepped Water Tank Connector provides a simple and versatile way to connect flexible water or waste hose to a 1¼" BSP male threaded outlet, making it particularly useful for motorhome, campervan, caravan and leisure vehicle water tank installations.
The female threaded end screws directly onto a compatible 1¼" BSP male connection, commonly found on a domestic basin, while the stepped hose tail provides three different barbed connection diameters: 20mm, 25mm and 32mm.
This multi-size design means a single fitting can be adapted to suit several commonly used flexible hose sizes, making it ideal when building, modifying or repairing fresh water and grey waste systems.
The stepped sections can be used with the appropriate internal diameter flexible hose and secured using a suitable hose clip. Where required, the unused smaller section of the hose tail can be carefully removed to provide a less restrictive flow path when using one of the larger hose sizes.
Manufactured from durable plastic, this connector is a useful addition to water tanks, waste tanks, drain systems and other low-pressure water installations.

Select the section that corresponds with the internal diameter of your hose and secure the hose with a correctly sized hose clip.
For larger hose installations, the smaller unused sections of the stepped tail can be carefully cut off if required. This can help maximise the internal flow area through the connector.
The connector has a 1¼" BSP female thread, designed to screw onto a compatible 1¼" BSP male fitting.
A 1¼" BSP thread measures approximately 41.9mm across the thread. This is normal for BSP sizing and should not be confused with a 1¼" physical thread diameter.
The stepped hose tail is designed for 20mm, 25mm or 32mm internal diameter flexible hose.
Yes. Where appropriate, the smaller unused sections can be carefully removed to provide a clearer flow path through the fitting. Take care not to damage the section of hose tail you intend to use.
Yes. It is particularly useful for adapting a compatible 1¼" BSP male tank outlet to flexible water hose.
Yes. The stepped connector is well suited to grey waste and tank drainage systems, subject to the connection sizes being compatible.
It can be used as a plumbing connector in fresh water systems. If the water is intended for drinking, all components in the complete installation should be confirmed as suitable for potable water.
We recommend using an appropriately sized stainless steel hose clip or suitable double-wire hose clip to secure the hose over the stepped tail.
