Choosing the Correct Sensor Length (IMPORTANT)

To ensure accurate readings and proper float movement:

Measure the internal depth of your tank
Select a sensor approximately 15mm shorter than the tank depth
Prevents the float contacting the top or bottom of the tank
Ensures smooth operation and reliable readings

Important Information

Empty Reading: 0Ω
Full Reading: 190Ω

Please note:

When empty, there is typically a 3–21mm gap between the float and the bottom of the sensor — this is completely normal
When full, there is typically a 3–15mm gap between the float and the top of the sensor — this is also normal

These gaps are intentionally designed to allow safe float movement and accurate operation.
