The Whale In-Line Pressure Switch is designed to automatically control compatible Whale water pumps by detecting changes in pressure within the fresh water system.

When a tap or shower is opened, the resulting pressure drop activates the switch and turns the pump on. When the outlet is closed and system pressure is restored, the switch turns the pump off again. This allows a conventional submersible or in-line pump to operate as part of an automatic pressurised water system.

The pressure switch features 12mm male connections for use with compatible Whale Quick Connect pushfit plumbing. It should be installed on the outlet side of the pump and before any tee connections, allowing it to detect pressure changes throughout the water system.

The cut-in and cut-out pressure can be adjusted to suit the installation, with a maximum operating pressure of 2 bar (30 PSI). It is suitable for 12V and 24V DC systems and is recommended for use with compatible Whale submersible and in-line pumps.
