The Thetford S220-S Separation Toilet is a modern waterless toilet designed for motorhomes, campervans and caravans, providing a practical alternative to a conventional cassette toilet for those looking for greater independence when travelling off-grid.
Instead of combining waste in a single cassette, the S220-S separates urine and solid waste at the toilet bowl. Urine is directed into a removable 7.5 litre urine tank, while solid waste is collected separately in a 7.1 litre solids container.
As the toilet operates without flushing water, it helps conserve the vehicle's fresh-water supply and eliminates the need for a conventional toilet flush system.
The S220-S is based on Thetford's proven C220 toilet platform, making it particularly suitable for compact motorhome and campervan washrooms. The ergonomically designed bowl incorporates a blade that visually covers the solid waste container when the toilet is not being used.
Both waste containers are accessed through the vehicle's exterior service door, allowing them to be removed without carrying waste through the living area.
The S220-S is the recessed installation version of the S220 separation toilet. It is designed for installations where the rear section of the toilet can be incorporated into the bathroom wall or furniture.
*A 12V supply is required if the optional electric ventilator kit is installed.
