The Thetford C402C LH Cassette Toilet is a comfortable bench-style cassette toilet designed for motorhomes, caravans and campervan conversions. Featuring its own 15 litre integrated flush-water tank, it does not need to be connected to the vehicle's main fresh water system.
A 12V electric flush pump delivers water to the toilet bowl at the press of a button, making the C402C particularly useful for conversions where an independent toilet water supply is preferred.
The large 19.3 litre removable waste cassette is designed for easy handling, with built-in wheels and a retractable handle allowing the cassette to be rolled to the disposal point rather than carried. An integrated pour-out spout and vent button help provide controlled, splash-free emptying.
The waste-holding tank also incorporates an automatic pressure release vent, while the removable internal mechanism makes cleaning and maintenance easier.
This is the left-hand version. The handing is determined while sitting on the toilet. If the exterior wall and cassette removal point are on your left-hand side, you require the LH version.
Please note: The external cassette service door and kick plate is not supplied.
On the Thetford C402C, it refers to the side on which the waste cassette is located and removed when you are sitting on the toilet.
If the cassette access door on the outside of the vehicle is on your left-hand side, then you need the LH (left-hand) version.
No. The C402C has its own integrated 15 litre flush-water tank, so it does not need to be connected to the motorhome or caravan's main fresh water system.

Yes. A 12V electric pump draws water from the toilet's integrated flush tank and supplies it to the bowl when the flush button is pressed.
The integrated fresh-water flushing tank has a capacity of approximately 15 litres.

Yes. The cassette incorporates wheels and a retractable handle, allowing it to be rolled to a disposal point instead of having to carry a full cassette.
The waste cassette is removed through the vehicle's exterior service door. It has an integrated pour-out spout and vent button to help provide a controlled flow when emptying.
Yes. The C402C incorporates a waste tank level indication system, helping you see when the cassette is approaching the point where it should be emptied.
The waste cassette needs to be accessible from the outside of the vehicle in a conventional installation. A suitable Thetford cassette service door is therefore normally installed in the exterior wall.
