The Quick Release Male Blanking Cap is designed to fit compatible Rebel Leisure sill mounted fresh water fill points, providing a simple way to protect the connection when it is not in use.
The cap simply pushes onto the fresh water connection using the quick release fitting, helping to keep the fill point clean and dry while preventing dirt, road debris and insects from entering the connection. When the fresh water point is required, the cap can be quickly released and removed.
This blanking cap is particularly useful where the sill mounted connection is used as a fresh water tank filling point and remains disconnected between fills.
We supply the blanking cap separately because our sill mounted fresh water connections can also be used as water outlets. They are popular for applications including window cleaning vehicles and motocross vans, where a suitable pressure washer, jet wash or hose may be connected to the onboard water tank. In these installations a blanking cap may not be required.
The cap covers the fresh water connection when it is not being used, helping prevent dirt, road debris, insects and moisture from entering the connection.
