58 Litre Underfloor Fresh Water Tank Kit (Backfill System) – Mercedes Sprinter RWD (2006–Present)

This 58-litre underfloor fresh water tank kit (Backfill System) is engineered specifically for the Mercedes Sprinter RWD (2006–present). The backfill configuration allows the tank to be filled directly through your interior cold-water plumbing, keeping the van exterior completely clean and stealthy with no outside filler cap required.

Designed to sit along the driver’s-side sill behind the exhaust, the tank takes advantage of the deeper RWD sill cavity, providing a secure, efficient and discreet installation without compromising ground clearance.

Locating Instructions — Sprinter RWD (Backfill)

 Installs lengthways along the driver’s-side outer sill

Positioned behind the RWD exhaust box and ahead of the rear axle

Secured using the supplied straps

System Routing

Backfill line connects to the internal cold-water plumbing via the included isolation valve

Breather hose must be routed upward through the floor to prevent siphoning or vacuum lock

Ensure adequate clearance from:

Exhaust routing & heat shielding

Brake and fuel lines

Handbrake cable

Wiring harnesses
